During the inspection, our trained fire protection specialists conduct a detailed visual and physical assessment of all areas where building elements have been penetrated by services such as: Cables and cable trays Pipes and pipework Ductwork and conduits Openings or voids in fire-rated walls, floors, and ceilings We check that all penetrations are correctly sealed with approved fire-stopping materials and that each seal maintains the required fire resistance rating of the surrounding structure. Our survey also identifies: Damaged, missing, or inadequate fire seals Unsealed or poorly sealed penetrations Incorrect products or installation methods Potential breaches in fire-rated barriers Following the inspection, you will receive a comprehensive report that includes: Photographic evidence of all inspected areas A register of compliant and non-compliant penetrations Clear recommendations for remedial actions Supporting information to help achieve full fire safety compliance Our goal is to provide you with a clear understanding of your building’s fire-stopping condition and a practical path to full compliance — ensuring every compartment is properly protected in the event of a fire.
